Privacy Policy

What we collect
Your email address (for sign-in and account notices), the business name and logo you add to your account, and the project timelines you create — titles, client names, stage descriptions, dates, any password you set on a link, and, if you choose to add one, your client's email address (see "Client contact details" below). If you view a public timeline, we log a basic page-view record (which project, when) so owners can see whether their client has opened the link — we don't track visitors across other sites.
How we use it
To operate the service: authenticating you, rendering your timelines, sending sign-in links and account emails, processing payments, and showing you page-view activity on your own projects. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the infrastructure providers we use to run Unfangle, each bound by their own data-processing terms:
- Supabase — database, file storage, and authentication.
- Paddle — payment processing and billing for paid plans; Paddle acts as merchant of record and handles your payment details directly, we never see or store your card details.
- Resend — delivering transactional email (sign-in links, account notices).
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Plausible— privacy-friendly website analytics (page views only); it doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across other sites.
Anyone you send a public timeline link to can see the project content on that link — that's the intended purpose of the feature. Set a link password if you need to restrict who can view it.
Client contact details
Owners on paid plans can optionally add a client's email address to a project, used only to send that client a one-off notification when the owner clicks "Notify client" — we don't use it for anything else, and it's never shown on the public timeline itself. This is data about a third party that the account owner enters, not the client themselves, so the owner is responsible for having the client's consent (or another lawful basis) to share their email with us for this purpose. We're not responsible for the accuracy of an email address an owner enters, or for verifying an owner had the right to submit it. An owner can remove a client's email from project settings at any time.
Your choices
You can update your account details at any time from the account page, and delete your account and all associated data permanently from there too. Contact us if you'd like a copy of your data or have any other request regarding it.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. Continuing to use Unfangle after a change means you accept the updated policy.
